Digitally Remastered…what does that mean exactly?
Well, simply put, it means that the CDs will sound MUCH better to you than the original CDs you may have purchased…some would say ‘far superior’.
I thought CD’s were the best sound already…how will it sound better?
Several ways: When Amy’s CDs were first made, they were taken from analog recordings, which, in their day, sounded great. With all the new digital technology advances in recording albums, the original ‘masters’ (recordings) needed to be ‘remastered’ to bring the sound quality up to today’s standards.
You’ll hear instruments/sounds on the CDs now that you’ve never heard before. Guitars, strings, vocals, cowbells, etc. will all sound much brighter, clearer, and you can sometimes even hear the guitar pick hit the strings because the sound has improved drastically.
Have you ever noticed that when you put older CDs into your iPod or MP3 player that you have to turn UP the sound? And then when a newer CD/song pops up in your iPod it’s so much louder? That’s because the older recordings don’t meet today’s recording standards and therefore when you ‘remaster’ them, they’ll sound as good as if they were recorded yesterday. Now you won’t have to ‘turn up the volume’ so you can hear those classic Amy songs…well, at least you’ll only be turning it up for fun now… not because you can’t hear it!
Think of it as if you had been listening to Amy’s music with a blanket over the speakers and now, the blanket is removed and you can hear everything with amazing clarity.
Will the artwork be changed on the ‘remastered CDs’?
All original artwork will stay the same for the most part. Since Amy has changed record labels, the new logos for EMI, Sparrow Records, and a new Amy Grant Productions logo will be added. No additional pictures or pages will be added to preserve the original artwork.
You will notice on the front spine of all Amy’s CDs the remastered logo to let you know that these are the ‘newly remastered’ versions of the albums…you can’t miss it.

So why now? Why does it matter?
You may have noticed it’s been hard to find Amy’s albums in stores in recent years…just when you wanted to give “Straight Ahead” to a friend or when you remembered you let a friend borrow your "Lead Me On" CD ,and you never got it back, or you wanted to dance to your "Unguarded" CD…you couldn’t find it anywhere…not even on iTunes. Well, on August 14th, Amy’s entire catalog will be back in stores, digitally remastered’, and available to purchase again. In fact, most stores will be running specials like 2 CDs for just $20. Also, all of Amy’s CDs will be just $13.99 individually in most stores…the Christmas CDs (also remastered) will be $9.99 in most stores.

Will Amy’s music FINALLY be available on iTunes???
YES. YES. YES. On August 14th, all of Amy’s recordings will FINALLY be available in their entirety on iTunes…digitally remastered AND DRM free! (What’s DRM free you ask?)…you will now be able to download Amy’s music on iTunes and be able to play it on your iPod or ANY OTHER MP3 player (if you don’t have an iPod). Also, you will have the choice on whether to download it at CD-quality sound (higher bit rate for those techies out there) or the standard lower rate iTunes already provides. iTunes will also have some exclusive offers like box sets, essentials, etc. So be on the lookout!
When can I get Amy ringtones for my phone?
Beginning August 14th, you’ll be able to download some of your favorite Amy songs as ringtones! There is information inside each album that’s being remastered or you can go to www.ringtonejukebox.com beginning 8/14 and download them there.
