May 14, 2010 (Irving, TX)- As tens of thousands of Texas families prepare to descend on Southfork Ranch on Saturday, June 26th. 94.9 KLTY and Interstate Batteries announces that multi-platinum artist MercyMe front man Bart Millard will serve as host for the 20th anniversary for the much-heralded 94.9 KLTY/Interstate Batteries Celebrate Freedom ® concert-festival event.
The event is an all-day free family event featuring today’s biggest rock and adult contemporary Christian artists, fireworks, children’s entertainment, rides and exhibits. 94.9 KLTY has teamed up with Dallas/Fort Worth based Interstate Batteries for a 14th year to lead the charge in providing this absolutely free to the public event.
Joining Millard will be his band mates from MercyMe as they open the event, complimented by multi-platinum selling and Grammy® award winning artists Amy Grant, Third Day and Gospel Music Association Award winning and Grammy nominated artists, Israel Houghton, Matthew West and Hawk Nelson. Rounding out the all-star line-up, will be performers, Brandon Heath, Dallas/Fort Worth’s own Kari Jobe, Meredith Andrews, KJ-52, Francesca Battistelli, Britt Nicole,
Tenth Avenue North and The Robert Gotcher Band.
