She Colors My Day

April 16, 20101 Comment

From Team Amy — As Mother’s Day approaches, we can’t help but think about the incredible relationships we have had with our own mothers. Last year, Amy was blessed with the opportunity to record “She Colors My Day” to support a campaign by the same name that celebrates that eternal bond between mother and daughter. The She Colors My Day campaign has expanded and is now a presence on Facebook and Twitter! We urge you to check out their website for the story of how it all began, to learn how you can “color with the pink crayon,” and to hear Amy’s version of the theme song! Please do what you can to support this project as it in turn supports the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Entertainment Industry Foundation, and the Women’s Cancer Research Fund in their efforts to make life longer and healthier for your mothers and ours.

Incredible video…

April 8, 20107 Comments

A few weeks ago I discovered a video on youtube that someone made to the song “Better Than A Hallelujah.”  I watched the video with tears in my eyes and was blown away that someone had taken time from their own busy life to create such a moving companion piece to the song.  However, they were using a version of the song that was not a final approved version so the video was disabled by EMI.  However, after a few discussions, EMI allowed the video to be put back up as long as the creator used the correct version of the song.

I showed the video to Amy today and she loved it and asked that I share it with all of you.  We hope you enjoy the experience as much as we do, and if you do — pass it on!

A special thanks to the video creator, Sherry Menely, for sharing her talents with all of us.

Thanks,

Jennifer

Oops!

March 24, 20104 Comments

Friends of Amy -

My bad.  Tickets for the August 1 show in Lancaster, PA at the American Music Hall went on sale to the public before we had a chance to do a presale.  I talked to the promoter and he was able to free up some choice seats in the orchestra section which we have reserved for FOA, but the best seats (rows 1-10) are largely sold out.  I’m sorry.  :(

We are going to include a free coke/popcorn combination for anyone who wants to buy the reserved tickets through FOA.  The ticket link is now up in the members only part of FOA.

We are trying very hard to make sure we are consistent with our presales and I apologize for this lapse.

Thanks,

Jen

Monday Monday…

March 22, 20107 Comments

Amy and I are holed-up at EMI today while she does interviews and signs cds that have been pre-ordered through this website.  She’s going to have a hand cramp by the end of the day!

I’m excited about the response to the single and to the record as a whole.  THANK YOU for all the kind comments and the encouraging words.  As I have said before, this record came together in a way that was unlike any other but the final result is a collection of material that I am very excited about and thrilled to promote.

“Better Than A Hallelujah” continues to speak to my heart on a daily basis.  I hope it does the same for yours.

More later…
